Heinz Gräber GmbH in Berglen - Process

Drawing

Our work begins with a drawing provided by the customer. There are no limits on the individual character of the drawing. Our craft is to implement this template one to one as a rubber moulded part or rubber composite part.

Material selection

The material used plays an important role in determining the overall functionality, durability, and resistance of a rubber moulding. We are happy to advise you regarding your choice of rubber compound.

Mould construction

The customer-specific tool is produced before the rubber moulding is manufactured. We have been working with several mould makers specialising in vulcanisation moulds for over 20 years. This enables us to guarantee the highest level of precision during processing as well as flexible delivery times.

Vulcanisation

During the pressing process, the raw rubber mixture is pressed into shape and vulcanised simultaneously. This produces permanently elastic, resistant moulded rubber parts. As a result, our seals can withstand temperatures of up to 220°C when in use.

Deburring, cleaning, tempering

We deburr each part individually with the greatest care using special grinding machines and custom-made grinding heads. We can also deburr the parts with nitrogen (cryogenic process) or temper the parts to a specific hardness on request. We are happy to advise you on this topic. Finally, each rubber part is individually cleaned, checked, and securely packed.

Mould storage

We will store your moulds free of charge on request, enabling us to be flexible and react quickly whenever necessary.
